1 Day CCNSG SUpervising Safety Course – ECITB Accredited

This 2 day Training Course is a basic mandatory requirement for all staff, engineers, contractors, sub-contractors and site personnel working in the engineering construction industry and installation and maintenance sectors.

The course focuses on the core topics of Health and Safety and Environmental Awarenss.

The training is regulated by the ECITB – Engineering Construction Industry Training Board and confirms to the Health and Safety Executives standards and regulations. The acronym CCNSG stands for Client Contractors National Safety Group.

It is normal for personnel who do not hold a valid CCNSG Card/Safety Passport not to be allowed on to site.

The CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme was previously known as the SCATS Card.

The CCNSG National Safety Passport is valid for 3 years, at which point you may renew it for a further 3 years by completing a one day CCNSG renewal/refresher course.

The CCNSG Safety Passport Card / Scheme Training Course is held over 2 days.

Assessment and Certification

Each training module is assessed singly through a short examination. The examinations/tests are all multiplpe choice (MCQ’s), with the pass mark for each being 80%.

On successful completion of the course you will receive your ECITB accredited CCNSG Safety Passport Card in the post. This takes approximately 21 days to arrive. In the interim you may request a confirmation letter, this will confirm that you have successfuly undertaken your CCNSG Training and are awaiting your official CCNSG Passport to come through in the post.

This training course is covered by our Guaranteed Pass Plicy as standard. If for any reason incluing absence you fail to pass the course you can retake the entire course free of charge until you pass successfuly and receive your qualification.

Your CCNSG Passport is valid for 3 years. At the end of the 3 years you are able to renew your qualification for a further 3 years by completing a 2 day refresher/re-certification course
